For people interested in healthy power exchange, the submissive role is not a passive one. Even though the idea may seem counterintuitive, surrender and devotion to a fellow imperfect being require thoughtfulness and intentionality. There are many, many skills that are involved with creating and maintaining a healthy power exchange, and this work cannot be done exclusively by the dominant.
During this class, Dare will provide practical tips and advice on how to support and maintain a power exchange relationship from the submissive role. Time will be spent discussing how to maintain mindset, language that we can use in support of our power exchange, how to forgive our dominant when they have hurt us or the relationship, and many other points of interest to submissive folks interested in building long-term, successful D/s relationships.
This class is open to all attendees over the age of 18 and is open to attendees of all power orientations and dynamics but will focus primarily on the experience and perspectives of people who play a submissive role in sex and/or relationships.
